Jesolo’s valleys are situated in the Lagoon North of Venice, behind Jesolo, between the River Sile and the Caligo Canal.
Initially this area was known by the name of Trago, which later became Drago, then Drago di Jesolo and, around 1500, it became Dragojesolo.
The DragojesoloValley stretches over 1200 hectares and is a delight of unspoilt nature.
Inside the valley there is extensive fish breeding of mullet, gilt-head bream, bass and eel.
The valley contains typical fishing valley structures like "il Cason" and "le Cavane".
The dense valley vegetation is home to colonies of red and white herons, as well as mallard ducks.
