Great parade of decorated carts and Carnival festival 2010.

 

The city of Jesolo will fill up with a thousand colours as of Sunday 14th February, when Carnival starts, organised this year by the Pro Loco in association with the Municipality.

 

Inflatable toys, clowns and the traditional decorated carts will animate the streets of Jesolo. The traditional Veneto Carnival sweets (frittelle and crostoli) will be a tasty accompaniment to the shows.

The Carnival events in Jesolo:

 

SUNDAY 14TH FEBRUARY

 

Start at 2.00 pm in Piazza I° Maggio in Jesolo old city centre, with clowns, inflatable toys and frittelle and crostoli for everyone.

 

TUESDAY 16TH FEBRUARY

 

Start at 2.00 pm in Parco Griffone (Piazza Milano) in Lido di Jesolo, with clowns, inflatable toys and the essential Carnival sweets.

 
SUNDAY 21ST FEBRUARY

 

To finish off the Carnival celebrations, a parade of carts and folk groups will animate all of Via Bafile. The procession will leave from Piazza Manzoni and head for Piazza Mazzini, where the best four carts, the best mask and the best masked group will be awarded prizes. At the end of the prize giving, the procession will proceed to Piazza Marina.
