Jesolo is getting ready to welcome the spring 2010 season with a program entirely dedicated to art and culture.


The event "Jesolo for art ... let's discover the area", organised by the Jesolo municipal administration,

starts today, Thursday 25th February 2010 with a meeting with the writer Paolo Maurensig, author of

La Tempesta - il mistero di Giorgione, dedicated to the famous work of the Venetian renaissance artist.

 

The program will continue over the coming weeks with a series of events that will reach their climax

on Saturday 27th March with a walk around the sestriere of Cannareggio (the sestriere is one of the six zones into which

the city of Venice is divided; the other five are Castello, Dorsoduro, San Polo, Santa Croce and the most famous

San Marco) for discovering individual characteristics such as the Jewish ghetto and the famous churches of Santa Maria

dei Miracoli and Madonna dell'Orto.
