The "La Barena" Prize 2010 will take place at La Barena farm accommodation on Monday 15th March 2010. This is a food, wine and cultural event organised by MasterCibus with the support of the municipality of Jesolo.

Various prizes in each category will be awarded for the occasion:

Sport: an award for rugby player Giancarlo Pivetta, an ex-player with Italy’s National Rugby Team and current coach at Jesolo Rugby.

Literature: an award for Tiziano Scarpa author of “Venezia è un pesce" (Venice is a Fish) and winner of the Strega Prize 2009.
