In the year celebrating the 150 years of the unity of Italy Jesolo will host the 38th edition of Light Athletics Italian Championships, Individual and for Regions, second division (classes 1996 and 1997).

The event will take place from October 7 until Ocotber 9, 2011 at the Picchi Stadiumin Lido di Jesolo and rhe representatives of 19 regions and of the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano will take part in it. 

The participants will compete to win the national titles in following disciplines: 

- Running (80 m, 300 m, 1000 m., 2000 m.)

- Hurdles (100 m. - 80 m. for female cadets - 300 m.)

- Jumping (high jump, pole-vaulting, long jump, and triple jump)

- Throw (shot-putting, hammer, discus and javelin)

- Race walking- Pentathlon- Relay 4 x100
