Intelligenza Artificiale
Every step of science and technology risks frightening us and questions us. Artificial intelligence has disruptive potential. It will have possibilities of applications in every field of knowledge, research, production, work, and health. In this revolution, how can we safeguard what is human, relationships, and ourselves? There is a prevailing narrative, halfway between the dystopian and the resigned, that sees Artificial Intelligence as a steamroller destined to crush human work, replacing employees with algorithms and creatives with generative software. Yet, according to Don Luca Peyron, jurist, theologian, and coordinator of the Digital Apostolate Service of the Diocese of Turin, the reality is radically different: AI is not the executioner of employment, but the tool that could "sweep away mediocrity," freeing humans from alienating tasks to return them to their true vocation: creativity and empathy. Further information: In case of bad weather, the event will be held at the Church of Saints Liberale and Mauro, Piazza Milano
