The title chosen by the Municipality of Jesolo (Venice) for the 28th edition of the sand sculpture exhibition in Piazza Brescia. It focuses on change as a generative force, capable of transforming, regenerating, and opening new perspectives. This is an exhibition suitable for families but at the same time profound and current, leaving a lasting emotional impression. For Jesolo, 'The Power of Change' represents a future-oriented theme, in tune with a dynamic seaside city that continually renews itself. The artists will interpret natural transformations alongside human stories of innovation, unity, and renewal. Each work will become a visual narrative of progress and possibility, able to resonate with audiences of all ages. The city invites reflection on transformation, resilience, and renewal through sand works that celebrate positive evolution, growth, and hope. From April 18 to May 1, it will be possible to see the artists, some of the best sand sculptors in the world, at work as they shape the sand into spectacular creations inspired by metamorphosis, rebirth, and adaptability. The sand sculpture exhibition will be displayed free to the public every day from May 9 to October 4.

Jesolo 1915: a journey through time The JMuseum presents “Portrait of an Era: Cavazuccherina – Jesolo 1915,” a handcrafted landscape diorama that reconstructs the historic center as it was over a century ago. Houses, town hall, church, inn, and school take shape in a detailed model, the result of careful research based on archival photographs. Among the most evocative elements are the navigable Cavetta canal and the docks for the vaporetto that connected Jesolo to Venice, testaments to a simple but vibrant everyday life. The work provides an authentic glimpse into the roots of the city, inviting a rediscovery of the sense of community that characterizes it even today. It was realized by three Jesolo citizens: Maurizio De Zotti, Graziano Danieli, and Nicola Bonotto. A tribute to the memory and identity of the territory. A major exhibition dedicated to Elliott Erwitt (1928–2023), one of the most important photographers of the 20th century and a master of a gaze capable of telling the world with irony, elegance, and deep sensitivity. Curated by Biba Giacchetti, the exhibition brings together 80 of his most famous photographs: images that have become true icons of contemporary photography, capable of transcending epochs and cultures with an immediate and universal language. Through black-and-white shots of extraordinary visual strength, the journey guides the visitor through historical moments, scenes of everyday life, portraits of cultural and political figures, and situations observed with that subtle irony that characterizes all of his work. His photographs dedicated to dogs — often taken from unusual and surprising perspectives — are also renowned, as well as the romantic and poetic shots that have contributed to shaping the visual imagery of cities like Paris. The exhibition also fits into the celebrations for the bicentennial of the first photograph in history, the View from the Window at Le Gras taken in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, and represents an opportunity to retrace, through one of its most authoritative protagonists, the evolution of contemporary photographic language. A visual journey through irony, poetry, and the history of the 20th century through the gaze of one of the great masters of international photography.

The atmospheres of Astor Piazzolla will transform Piazza Mazzini, the most important square in the city, into "Libertango": a journey through concert, storytelling, dance, and passion. The protagonist will be Gloria Campaner, an internationally renowned pianist from Jesolo, who brings this project to the most important Italian theaters. Joining her on stage will be Alessandro Carbonare on clarinet and Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi on bandoneón, along with the choreography of Chiara Benati and Andrea Vighi, award-winning tango dancers. On Saturday, September 12, the Pala Turismo in Jesolo will host the zero date of Luciano Ligabue's tour in the arenas, one of the most loved artists in Italian music. Before reaching all the major Italian cities in the autumn, the rocker from Correggio chooses us to open this new live chapter — after the great summer of stadiums with “La notte di certe notti” in Rome, Turin, and Milan. An appointment that will also be the occasion to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of “Certe notti” and the album “Buon Compleanno Elvis,” released in 1995 and become milestones in the history of Italian music. World Youth Kickboxing Championships 2026
From September 18 to 27, 2026, Jesolo will become the global reference point for youth kickboxing, hosting the WAKO World Youth Championships, one of the most important events on the international calendar. For ten days, the Palazzo del Turismo in Piazza Brescia will be the heart of the event, welcoming thousands of young athletes, coaches, companions, and fans from over 60 nations and five continents. The competition is reserved for the Children, Cadets, and Juniors categories and represents a unique opportunity to see the best emerging talents in this discipline in action. Initially awarded to Bulgaria, the world championships were later entrusted to Italy following the decision of the WAKO Executive Board made in Abu Dhabi in December 2025. During the event, athletes will compete in tatami disciplines – Point Fighting, Light Contact, Kick Light, and Musical Forms – and in ring disciplines, including Full Contact, Low Kick, and K1-Style, offering the audience days filled with technique, spectacle, and adrenaline. After the success of Up & Down, Paolo Ruffini returns to the stage with DIN DON DOWN – In search of (G)od. On November 19, at the Palazzo del Turismo in Jesolo, an irreverent, fun, and surprising show takes the stage, featuring live music by Claudia Campolongo and artists directed by Lamberto Giannini. Paolo Ruffini and the actors of the Compagnia Mayor Von Frinzius return to the stage with the new and unmissable show Din Don Down. A concentration of audacious irony and brilliant improvisation, in this new edition that aims to surpass the triumph of the previous one. With Din Don Down, the boundaries of political correctness are challenged, approaching a new great concept: that of God, regardless of the forms or appearances in which each one may recognize it. Moonlight Half Marathon
The Moonlight Half Marathon awaits you in Jesolo on Saturday, May 22, 2027, for an evening of sports, excitement, and fun. The start is scheduled for around 7:30 p.m., with generally mild temperatures, ranging between 17°C and 23°C, ideal for running at sunset. Before the race, it will be possible to pick up your bib, timing chip, and race packet at the Moonlight Village in Piazza Milano, open on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The bib number will be assigned based on the registration date, while the starting grid will be determined by the best declared personal time in the last two years. There will be refreshment stations every 5 kilometers along the route with water and, from km 10, also supplements and cookies. On the seafront section, it will also be possible to cool off using the available showers. The timing service, managed by Evodata, will record the time at the start, at km 10, and at the finish line. After crossing the finish line, each participant will receive a medal and can enjoy the final refreshment at Parco Grifone. To facilitate event management, athletes are invited to use their own car or the accommodation facility as storage, while those arriving by public transport will have a dedicated service available.
