Tra Terra e Acqua
Over a hundred works including paintings, watercolors, and sketchbooks depict the Lagoon of Venice and the Valli di Jesolo through the perspective of six naturalist artists from the Ars et Natura collective, coordinated by ornithologist Fernando Spina. The exhibition path arises from direct field experiences and presents, with scientific rigor and artistic sensitivity, the evolution of one of the most delicate and strategic ecosystems in the Mediterranean. Among the featured artists is Federico Gemma, one of the most authoritative interpreters of contemporary naturalistic art and a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists. The works on display tell stories of habitats, species, and lagoon landscapes through travel sketchbooks, real-life observations, and studies focused on light and animal behavior, offering a thorough look at the ongoing changes in the Jesolo lagoon. The path proposes a reflection on the relationship between humans and the environment and the value of wetlands, which are fundamental ecosystems for biodiversity and the balance of the water cycle, increasingly exposed to the effects of climate change. In this context, the Lagoon of Venice and the Valli di Jesolo represent a strategic node in the migratory corridors of the Upper Adriatic, a stopover and wintering point for hundreds of thousands of birds each year. An invitation to get to know the lagoon and its transformations more closely through a perspective that combines art, science, and environmental awareness.

Sculture di Sabbia: " The Power of Change"
The title chosen by the Municipality of Jesolo (Venice) for the 28th edition of the sand sculpture exhibition in Piazza Brescia. It focuses on change as a generative force, capable of transforming, regenerating, and opening new perspectives. This is an exhibition suitable for families but at the same time profound and current, leaving a lasting emotional impression. For Jesolo, 'The Power of Change' represents a future-oriented theme, in tune with a dynamic seaside city that continually renews itself. The artists will interpret natural transformations alongside human stories of innovation, unity, and renewal. Each work will become a visual narrative of progress and possibility, able to resonate with audiences of all ages. The city invites reflection on transformation, resilience, and renewal through sand works that celebrate positive evolution, growth, and hope. From April 18 to May 1, it will be possible to see the artists, some of the best sand sculptors in the world, at work as they shape the sand into spectacular creations inspired by metamorphosis, rebirth, and adaptability. The sand sculpture exhibition will be displayed free to the public every day from May 9 to October 4.

Elliott Erwitt Icons
A major exhibition dedicated to Elliott Erwitt (1928–2023), one of the most important photographers of the 20th century and a master of a gaze capable of telling the world with irony, elegance, and deep sensitivity. Curated by Biba Giacchetti, the exhibition brings together 80 of his most famous photographs: images that have become true icons of contemporary photography, capable of transcending epochs and cultures with an immediate and universal language. Through black-and-white shots of extraordinary visual strength, the journey guides the visitor through historical moments, scenes of everyday life, portraits of cultural and political figures, and situations observed with that subtle irony that characterizes all of his work. His photographs dedicated to dogs — often taken from unusual and surprising perspectives — are also renowned, as well as the romantic and poetic shots that have contributed to shaping the visual imagery of cities like Paris. The exhibition also fits into the celebrations for the bicentennial of the first photograph in history, the View from the Window at Le Gras taken in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, and represents an opportunity to retrace, through one of its most authoritative protagonists, the evolution of contemporary photographic language. A visual journey through irony, poetry, and the history of the 20th century through the gaze of one of the great masters of international photography.

Circo Patuf
The Circo Patuf is a traveling circus-theater company that moves with its marquee (circus tent). The philosophy that drives Circo Patuf in its artistic actions is the pursuit of that dream, of that vital flame that wants us to be free to express ourselves in our diversities and to bring smiles to the world. The project was born in 2010 to chase the dream of a group of artist friends who strongly believe in the power of laughter and together founded the cultural association "Patapufete". Over the years, the company has collaborated with many entities, weaving bonds and collaborations with street performers and circus artists, while also blending with theater, dance, singing, magic, music, and cinema. The shows have always been the result of experimentation, discussions, and fantasies that have brought to the stage the utopias and feelings of the involved artists. In recent seasons, the company has chosen to tackle social themes such as immigration and conflicts, topics that the artists feel touched by and through which they want to convey messages that go beyond the entertainment of their performances, even if veiled and disguised by comedy.

I Semi Della Follia - Carnevale d'Estate 2026
The review Summer Carnival returns to enliven Piazza Torino with brilliant theatrical performances and commedia dell'arte, offering fun evenings suitable for all ages. Saturday, August 8: The Seeds of Madness - Commedia dell'arte Set in the psychedelic 1970s, “The Seeds of Madness” is an ironic show with a fast pace and rich in twists where, in a crescendo of intrigues and mysteries, a story teeters between reality and fantasy, nightmare and dream. An intriguing challenge that has catapulted Eugene Labiche's work “L’affaire de rue de Lourcine” from the bourgeois salons of Paris to the Venice of the post-Beatles era. And indeed, there are many analogies between vaudeville and Commedia dell'arte: first of all the characters, with their traits and masks, the criticism directed at a certain social class, the “asides” to the audience, and above all the comedy of the situation. Artistic direction: Giovanni Giusti Free admission. Start at 9:00 p.m.

SULLE RIVE DEL FIUME VERSO L’IMBRUNIRE
The rivers that wash and outline our territory, like our beloved Piave river that caresses the city of Noventa di Piave, also flow in the memory of those who have always lived in these lands, making nature fertile and welcoming, just like the imagination."On the banks of the river towards dusk" is a reading dedicated to this, which speaks of waterways and lagoons that have been giving life to this part of Italy for centuries, rooted in traditions and popular culture. In the evocative and central archaeological area of San Mauro, the two performers will give voice to aphorisms, lullabies with a rural flavor, and, above all, to the poems of Giacomo Noventa, Romano Pascutto, and many other authors whose verses will blend with authentic sounds and songs performed live.

Processo Par 'Na Broca Rota - Carnevale d'Estate 2026
The review Summer Carnival returns to animate Turin Square with brilliant theatrical performances and commedia dell'arte, providing entertaining evenings suitable for all ages. Saturday, August 29: Trial for a broken jug - Comedy in Venetian dialect A perfect comedy, where the interest is sustained by an impeccable plot and the portrayal of all vivid, interesting, and cleverly comedic characters. With a subtle liveliness and in a popular context, the profile of a late 1800s judge is traced, who finds himself in the paradoxical situation of investigating a crime of which he himself is the culprit, representing the absurdity of a soul that can no longer recognize an objective reality. The broken jug thus mocks the fallibility of human nature and the legal system, with a wise taste for the grotesque and a thoroughly entertaining characterization of the characters. Since the Italian language is poorly suited to effectively render the language of farmers, the staging and setting are invigorated, fleshed out, and made more effective through the use of our magical and hilarious Venetian dialect. Artistic direction: Giovanni Giusti Free admission. Start time 9:00 p.m.

SULLE SPONDE DEL PIAVE
There was a time when the Piave River mirrored bloody battles, violence, human ferocity, pain, and death; a time many years ago, yet still so relevant, dangerously close to us and absurdly concrete. Then, perhaps, we should return to listen to it, our River, as it tells us about that time and this, as it murmurs its prayer that in its waters may reflect only smiles, carefree children's games, thoughts filled with hope, verses that speak of love. The appointment will be an opportunity to gather united in this meaningful listening, sheltered under the geodesic dome that towers in the garden of the Association “La Casa Rossa” in Fossalta di Piave. A moment of reflection that passes through the words of the two interpreters and the strings of the guitar.

TEDx Jesolo
TEDxJesolo: the theme for 2026 is Taboo There are topics we learn to avoid, words that hang in the air, questions we postpone because they seem too uncomfortable, too intimate, or too difficult to tackle. Taboo originates from this: the need to look with more courage and sensitivity at what often remains in the shadows, not because it doesn't concern us, but because it touches us deeply. Talking about taboos means creating space for what has been silenced, listening to diverse experiences without judgment, and recognizing that behind every silence there may be a story, a fear, a choice, or a desire for change. It is an invitation to approach delicate topics with respect, openness, and humanity. Because some conversations are frightening, but they can also become the first step toward better understanding each other, feeling less alone, and imagining a more aware community.
