SULLE SPONDE DEL PIAVE

There was a time when the Piave River mirrored bloody battles, violence, human ferocity, pain, and death; a time many years ago, yet still so relevant, dangerously close to us and absurdly concrete. Then, perhaps, we should return to listen to it, our River, as it tells us about that time and this, as it murmurs its prayer that in its waters may reflect only smiles, carefree children's games, thoughts filled with hope, verses that speak of love. The appointment will be an opportunity to gather united in this meaningful listening, sheltered under the geodesic dome that towers in the garden of the Association “La Casa Rossa” in Fossalta di Piave. A moment of reflection that passes through the words of the two interpreters and the strings of the guitar.
