New Year's Eve 2027 in Jesolo is all about looking up. Piazza Kennedy will host a show with 800 illuminated drones, drawing shapes and choreographies in the sky above the town. Then, at midnight, the fireworks. All around, two days of music with the radio stations, on 31 December 2026 and 1 January 2027, with free admission.
The drone show
Eight hundred small aircraft lighting up together and moving in unison: that is how a drone show works. Each drone is a point of light, and together they create drawings, words and animations suspended in the sky. Compared with fireworks it is a silent show, one you can follow from start to finish like a story told in pictures.
For Jesolo it is the novelty of this edition, and the Municipality presents it as the highlight of the celebrations. The official poster lists it as «Droni show», next to the fireworks display. The exact time of the show has not been announced yet.
The programme of the two days
Thursday 31 December 2026, from 10 pm. The party starts with the hosts and DJs of Radio Piterpan and Radio Bellla & Monella. The poster also features the Mist DJ-Band, with its repertoire of hits from the '90s and 2000s. The music carries the crowd up to the midnight countdown, and the new year arrives with fireworks.
Friday 1 January 2027, from 4 pm. Anyone who wants to start the year in company can come back to the square for a second afternoon of music and entertainment.
Planning your evening
Admission is free and no booking is needed. On a night like New Year's Eve, though, it is worth arriving a little early, especially if you want a good view of the sky.
