The XXIV edition of Jesolo Sand Nativity, the famous Sand Nativity that enchanted Pope Francis, this year has the theme “The Song of Free Women – Mary's Magnificat, a revolution that continues“. A story told through 19 extraordinary sand sculptures that, starting from the figure of young Mary, a woman before being an icon, traverses the centuries and meets women who, like her, had the courage to choose: Maysa Yousef, Mahsa Amini, Malala Yousafzai, Rita Levi-Montalcini, Franca Viola, the Italian women who won the right to vote in 1946, and Samantha Cristoforetti.Different stories, united by a deeply human gesture: refusing to accept that others decide who to be. The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday, November 28, 2026, until Sunday, February 7, 2027 inside a heated tent structure in the immediate vicinity of the Palace of Tourism and the Ferris wheel in Jesolo in Piazza Brescia, with ample parking available nearby.
