Piazza Aurora is getting ready to transform into the stage for great jazz. Saturday, July 25, 2026, starting at 9:00 p.m., the prestigious city setting will host the performance of the JM Jazz World Big Band, considered the most important youth jazz orchestra at the European level. The JM (where JM stands for “Jeunesse Musicale”) Jazz World Big Band is made up of about twenty talented young musicians selected each year by an international jury through a global audition. Founded in 1975, the jazz orchestra has worked with some of the best conductors, musicians, and composers in the world, embarking on tours each year that have taken it to perform at the most prestigious jazz festivals in Europe. Artistic and musical director of the JM Jazz World Big Band since 2015 is the American trombonist and composer Luis Bonilla, a musician with an impressive background.
